Besides the 70 hectares farm that they own and operate, Cafe Narava represent more than 40 little coffee farmers from the surrounding areas. They work hard to earn these farmers trust, so they can Costa Rican coffee all over the world. One of these farmers is Juan Carlos Marin and his farm, Marespi. Thanks to this partnership with Cafe Narava he can experiment with washed, semi-washed, natural, controlled fermentation, and honey processes for his coffees. Our green buyer discovered Marespi as part of our first visit to Cafe Narava and Carlos early in 2024. Our clients fell in love with it on the cupping table for hopefully obvious reasons. This washed coffee delivers a bright acidity and sugary sweetness.
