Edy Batres is a founding member of UCCAFE and we are more than pleased to be offer their farm, Finca El Farito, as part of our Red Scorpion line up this year. UNION CERRITEÑA DE PRODUCERS DE CAFÉ (UCCAFE) is a community of coffee growers passionate about capturing the essence of the volcanic lands of Fraijanes, Guatemala. Member farms are surrounded and protected by the Agua, Fuego and Pacaya volcanoes which have laid down healthy rich volcanic soils that nurture coffees that showcase the unique terroir of the Fraijanes Plateau. UCCAFE has 26 members dedicated to preserving and perfecting the region's coffee growing tradition, combining ancestral practices and modern techniques to achieve production that is both ecologically and socially responsible
