Guatemala - Red El Scorpion - Washed- Fraijanes - UCCAFE Blend

UNION CERRITEÑA DE PRODUCERS DE CAFÉ (UCCAFE) is a community of coffee growers passionate about capturing the essence of the volcanic lands of Fraijanes, Guatemala. Member farms are surrounded and protected by the Agua, Fuego and Pacaya volcanoes which have laid down healthy rich volcanic soils that nurture coffees that showcase the unique terroir of the Fraijanes Plateau. UCCAFE has 26 members dedicated to preserving and perfecting the region's coffee growing tradition, combining ancestral practices and modern techniques to achieve production that is both ecologically and socially responsible. Anthem’s connection to UCCAFE begins with our deep friendship with Dina Monterosso of Finca Pensiamento.  Through her efforts we have been connected to all of this year's fantastic farmers and are looking forward to offering their coffees individually as well as this custom blend of Red Scorpion that highlights all of the classic chocolatey, nougaty, lemony and full bodied goodness so characteristic of this region.
