Sumatra - Mandheling - Grade 1

This coffee hails from Mandheling and offers the classic earthy, herbals and syrupy profile that is expected from Sumatran coffees. The deep, almost blue green color of well processed Sumatran coffee is one of our favorite sights here in the cupping lab and this one did not disappoint. It offered a nice glutamic base for the classic Sumatra profile to balance on top of. In the right hands this coffee can serve as a single origin or be a champion team player in a blend.
