Tarrazú is one of Costa Rica’s most celebrated coffee‑growing regions, renowned for its high elevations, pristine microclimates, and consistently vibrant cup profiles. With an average altitude of 1400 MASL, the region produces coffees prized for their bright acidity, sweet, lingering aftertaste, and syrupy body—qualities that have made Tarrazú a benchmark origin for roasters around the world. Located roughly 70 km from San José and framed by the Talamanca Sierra mountain range, this valley offers ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation and exceptional washed coffees. We work to keep Tarrazú offerings in stock year‑round for the many roasters who rely on its clarity, structure, and versatility as a staple component in both single‑origin menus and blends.
